CSE: WSR Market Performance Since July 8, 2026
*Aug. 31 figures are intraday snapshots from approximately 10:43 a.m. EDT. The CSE quote was C$0.455 (real-time CAD); WSRIF was US$0.333 (delayed OTCQB quote). July 8 reference prices are approximate. Intraday quotes may differ from closing prices; historical performance does not predict future results.
Junior mining companies can spend years asking investors to believe in what might happen next. Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR; OTCQB: WSRIF; FRA: 4K2) is giving the market something more concrete to evaluate: a rapidly advancing U.S. tungsten portfolio, modern exploration results and a visible path toward drilling.
The market has responded.
On July 8, WSR traded at approximately C$0.29 on the CSE. During Monday morning trading on August 31, at approximately 10:43 a.m. EDT, the shares were quoted at C$0.455 — roughly 57% above that level. On the U.S. market, WSRIF was quoted at US$0.333 at the same snapshot, roughly 67% above an approximate US$0.20 July 8 level. Investor activity has also been visible in trading volume, including an August 7 session of 860,414 shares on the CSE.
Western Star’s stronger market performance has occurred alongside a steady stream of tangible project advancement.
And the underlying story has become considerably stronger.
Western Star now controls three past-producing U.S. tungsten projects across Nevada and New Mexico. At Rowland and White Star, modern geophysics, geochemistry, geological mapping and certified laboratory results are increasingly building a coherent exploration model.
The company’s August 26 district-scale 3D magnetic inversion represents an important step in defining the exploration model. The model identified buried and partially exposed intrusive bodies and refined approximately 25 kilometres of interpreted structures that may have served as pathways for mineralizing fluids within the tungsten skarn system.
The important part for investors is where the geology and the assays meet.
Western Star’s highest-grade reported rock-chip results — 4.02% WO₃ at Rowland and 3.00% WO₃ at White Star — occur spatially near modeled intrusive-carbonate contacts and interpreted structures. The modeled intrusive framework also extends beyond known surface exposures, creating additional untested exploration space.
That is a significant evolution from simply owning historically productive ground. Western Star is beginning to connect historical workings, modern geophysics, geochemistry, mapping and high-grade surface results into one increasingly defined exploration thesis.
Eagle Point in New Mexico adds another major component. The past-producing property hosts eight historically mapped skarn bodies, and Western Star has commenced fieldwork and is targeting maiden drilling in 2026, subject to customary conditions. The company’s stated objective is to generate the modern geological and analytical data necessary to determine whether Eagle Point could ultimately support a maiden NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate.
With each phase of work, Western Star is moving closer to the drilling and technical milestones that could define the next stage of the story.
But the investment story now looks very different from the story investors were looking at only a few months ago.
Three past-producing U.S. tungsten assets. Modern exploration data. High-grade surface results. Expanding targets. Drill permitting. Field crews on the ground. And a market that has responded as the story has become more tangible.
For investors following the U.S. critical-minerals sector, Western Star Resources is becoming increasingly difficult to overlook.
